The method involves operating a clutch pedal by a driver for the execution of a start-up procedure of a motor vehicle. A gear is inserted, a clutch is kicked and the motor is in operation for starting the vehicle by the clutch pedal operation. The motor speed is regulated based on the operation of the clutch pedal that is based on the momentary driving resistance, during the start-up procedure. An independent claim is also included for a device for starting a motor vehicle. |
