In a bearing assembly an axial bearing comprises a cage 4 retaining rollers 3 in one direction axially of the bearing, a race 8 retaining the rollers in the opposite direction, and an element 9 extending from race 8 retaining the cage radially and axially and having an end surface for supporting a movable element of a radial bearing. The radial end surface of element 9 abuts the ends of needles 1 of a radial bearing. The element may be integral with plate 8 and may extend from the outer periphery of the race. Projections 13 on the cage retain the rollers.</p> |
