A method and a device for providing contents through the wireless network are provided to enable a user to buy/use the contents by automatically receiving connection information for the desired contents without searching or remembering URL(Uniform Resource Locator) information of sites providing the desired site one by one. An authenticator(51) receives content push request data including CP server ID information, target information, content introduction information, and connection icon information from the CP server, and authenticates a CP server by using the CP server ID information. A user selector(52) selects the users by searching a user information database(55) with the target information. A push data generator(53) generates/transmits push data including the content introduction information and the connection icon information to the user terminal of the selected users. The connection icon information includes image data expressing the contents to make the user intuitively recognize the contents and connection link information of the CP server.
