A web browser navigation terminal and a control method thereof are provided to display a large amount of GUI(Graphic User Interface) information and to implement rapid index change by using a web browser. A web browser navigation terminal includes a map data database(30), an input unit(40), a storage unit(20), a display unit(50), and a controller(10). The map data database stores map data, navigation information and web browser information. The input unit includes keys for selecting the web browser. The storage unit stores a web browser engine and a map data display mode flag. The display unit displays the map data, the navigation information, and the web browser information. The controller drives the web browser engine when the keys are manipulated to select a web browser mode, and displays the map data and the web browser information on the display unit through the web browser. |
