An indoor unit of an air conditioner is provided to prevent deformation of a cabinet and position movement of a heat exchanger, and to improve reliability by including a bracket linked with the heat exchanger by a linkage member and hanged in the cabinet. An indoor unit of an air conditioner comprises a cabinet(49), a heat exchanger(200) and brackets(210,220). The heat exchanger is arranged inside the cabinets. The cabinet includes a left side cabinet(50) and a right side cabinet(70) arranged to be opposite to the left side cabinet. The brackets are linked with the heat exchanger by a linkage member, and fixed to the cabinets. The brackets include a linkage part linked with the heat exchanger by the linkage member, and a hanger part bent in the linkage part and hanged in the cabinet.
