A metal mold spotting device is provided to achieve improved safety and reduce noise by eliminating the necessity of directly striking the assembled mold. A metal mold spotting device(100) includes a press unit(102) mounted on a work table(101) and has a top on which a hydraulic cylinder is mounted; a base(111) mounted with a mold and movable in a horizontal direction on the work table; and a hydraulic pump(119) for providing power to the hydraulic cylinder. The hydraulic cylinder operates and presses the mold when the mold on the base is positioned in the press unit. The metal mold spotting device further includes a guide groove(115) formed on a top surface of the work table and extended to the inside of the press unit; and a guide protrusion formed on a bottom surface of the base and slidably arranged in the guide groove.
