DUAL CHANNEL MICRORING RESONANT DEVICE AND OPTICAL MULTI BAND MICROWAVE BAND PASS FILTER USING THE SAME

A dual channel micro-ring resonant device and an optical multi-band microwave band pass filter using the same are provided to filter more than two center frequencies by arranging more than two sub resonators between input and output bus waveguides. A dual channel micro-ring resonant device includes a first sub resonator(200), a second sub resonator(300), an input bus waveguide(100), and an output bus waveguide(400). The first sub resonator includes first and second ring waveguides having the same radius and a first voltage source. The second sub resonator includes third and fourth ring waveguides and a second voltage source. The third and fourth ring waveguides have radii smaller than the first and second ring waveguides. The input bus waveguide is arranged between the second and third ring waveguides and supplies an optical signal, which is modulated by a microwave signal, to the second and third ring waveguides. The output bus waveguide is arranged between the first and fourth ring waveguides and outputs the modulated optical signal.
