A circuit for reducing latency time of an infrared ray transceiver is provided to achieve very short latency time of the amplifier within the infrared ray transceiver by comprising a switching control signal generating unit for generating a switching control signal and a direct voltage supply unit for supplying DC(Direct Current) voltage to the input stage of an amplifier. A circuit for reducing latency time of an infrared ray transceiver comprises the followings: a current/voltage converting unit(21) for converting the current of a received infrared ray signal into a voltage; an amplifier(22) for amplifying the weak voltage outputted through the current/voltage converting unit; a switching control signal generating unit(81) for generating a switching control signal by enlarging the high pulse width of transmission data; and a direct voltage supply unit(82,83) for supplying DC(Direct Current) voltage to an input stage of the amplifier by using the switching control signal.
