An apparatus for preventing sudden acceleration of vehicle and storing data is provided to detect a vehicle sudden acceleration status to cut electric power of the vehicle to prevent sudden acceleration. A vehicle sudden acceleration preventing and data storing apparatus includes a diagnosis connector(100), a signal analysis part(200), a controller(300), a key input part(400), a power supply(500), an A/D converter(510), a storage part(600), a display part(700), a collision sensor(710), and an actuator(800). The diagnosis connector is attached to a diagnostic link connector. The signal analysis part is connected to the diagnosis connector to analyze status information of a vehicle. The controller determines sudden acceleration and store measurement data. The key input part is connected to the controller to receive a control order of a user. The power supply receives power transmitted from the diagnostic link connector. The A/D converter transmits a voltage value of the power supply to the controller.
