OPTICAL SHEET AND DISPLAY APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME

An optical sheet and a display device having the same are provided to increase the color reproduction characteristic by using the optical sheet filtering the light of a specific wavelength region. An optical sheet(300) is composed of a reflecting polarization layer(310) for transmitting some of the incident light and reflecting the rest of the light and a filter layer(320) for selectively reflecting a predetermined wavelength region of the light transmitted through the reflecting polarization layer. The filter layer reflects the light of at least one of a first wavelength region included between blue and green peaks and a second wavelength region included between green and red peaks. The first wavelength region is 470~530nm and the second wavelength region is 572~605nm.
