API TEST METHOD AND APPARATUS OF EMBEDDED SOFTWARE

A method and a device for testing an API of embedded software are provided to offer a test result even if a system is crashed by storing information before system crash and failed test case information. The device includes a test suit(510) for registering the test case, a test manager(610) for storing the failed test case information, and an output manager(640) for providing a test result. A log before the system crash and the failed test case information are stored to a log file.
