A V-type rubber belt, comprising a reinforcing means disposed in said V--type rubber belt; a buffer layer provided above said reinforcing means; a compression layer provided under said reinforcing means, wherein said reinforcing means is in a sheet structure. The advantages of the sheet-shape d reinforcing means are in that: the sheet structure of the reinforcing means enhances the transverse rigidity of the belt, thus increasing the transmissi on power thereof; due to the sheet structure, shearing forces between adjacent layers are avoided, thus increasing the durability of the belt; with the she et structure of the reinforcing means, the process of manufacture of the belt i s simplified and the cost thereof is reduced; because of the smaller elongatio n of the sheet structure, it is avoided that the distance between the mechanical equipment has to be adjusted frequently when the V-type rubber is in using.< /SDOAB>
