FIELD: methods and apparatuses for cutting blanks, namely forged blanks with use of one driven device and one clamping device for holding blank. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of cutting blank at least by one cut-off device. At cutting blank is mounted and (or) held while it is rotated with use of one supporting device that is mounted elastically and (or) with possibility of shock absorbing on foundation. Cut-off device is moved to blank and to supporting device by means of one in-feed mechanism. Apparatus for cutting blanks is also offered. ^ EFFECT: reduced wear degree of circular saw for cutting blanks, minimized heating degree of blank and tool, significantly lowered period of cutting. ^ 12 cl, 2 dwg |
