A PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION CONTAINING MAZINDOL HAVING ENHANCED STABILITY

Provided is a pharmaceutical composition containing mazindol having enhanced stability in which content reduction of mazindol is reduced and stability of mazindol is improved by using both an excipient having low loss on dry(LOD) and an acidifying agent. The pharmaceutical composition for obesity treatment contains 0.1-4.0 parts by weight of mazindol represented by the formula(1), 60-99.5 parts by weight of an excipient having loss on dry(LOD) of 1% or less and 0.5-60 parts by weight of an acidifying agent, and has pH 4.0 or less, wherein the excipient having loss on dry(LOD) of 1% or less is lactic acid, mannitol, corn starch, anhydrous calcium hydrogen phosphate, calcium carbonate, lactitol, magnesium carbonate, maltitol, maltose, polyethyleneglycol, white sugar, xylitol or dextrate; the acidifying agent is inorganic acid such as phosphoric acid, potassium dihydrogen phosphate and sodium hydrogen phosphate, or organic acid such as citric acid, acetic acid, alginic acid, ascorbic acid, benzoic acid, malic acid, edetic acid, fumaric acid, lactic acid, propionic acid, sorbic acid, stearic acid, tartaric acid, aspartic acid, saccharin, succinic acid and glutamic acid.
