A controller is provided to prevent the danger of an electric shock by covering a high voltage unit of a variable resistor through a protrusion. A controller includes a high voltage circuit component(1), a resin case(3), a resin panel(4), and a handle(5). The high voltage circuit component(1) includes an operation unit(1a). A circuit board(2) is mounted on the operation unit(1a). The resin case(3) receives the circuit board(2). The resin panel(4) is fixed to a surface of the resin case(3). The resin panel(4) covers a high voltage unit of the high voltage circuit component(1). The resin panel(4) includes a protrusion(4b), a blade, and a claw unit(4a). The protrusion(4b) has a box shape. The blade has a disc shape. The protrusion(4b) contacts with a lower part of the handle(5). The resin case(3) receives an external force applied to the handle(5) through the resin panel(4).
