An insulation material for a ship is provided to form an insulation layer including a plurality of layers by using a glass fiber and a ceramic fiber and finish the insulation layer by using a metal thin film. An insulation material for a ship includes a first insulation layer(100), a second insulation layer(200), a third insulation layer(300), and a shroud layer(400). The first insulation layer is cut according to the shape of an insulated object and is bent according to the outer shape of the insulated object to maintain the shape thereof. The second insulation layer is cut according to the shape of the insulated object and is formed of a ceramic fiber to make contact with the upper surface of the first insulation layer. The third insulation layer is cut according to the shape of the insulated object and is formed of a glass fiber to make contact with the upper surface of the second insulation layer. The shroud layer is cut according to the shape of the insulated object so as to surround the third insulation layer and is formed of a metal thin film. The shroud layer is mounted to the insulated object by spot welding.
