A safety diagnosis device of a guardrail using optical fiber is provided to take follow-up measures for traffic accidents on a road or a bridge and to prevent the extension of the accidents by generating signals according to the damaged state of optical fiber when a vehicle collides against a guardrail and sending out the signals to a base station. The safety diagnosis device of a guardrail using optical fiber includes a pair of side supports(10) installed along the edge of a road or a bridge at regular intervals, an empty center support(20) installed between two side supports, many horizontal pipes(30) coupled horizontally to connect with two through holes between the side support and the center support, many optical fiber bundles inserted to the two side supports through the two horizontal pipes and the center support, many signal generators connected with each optical fiber to generate signals for a short circuit of the optical fiber bundles and to transmit the signals together with locational information to a satellite, and a solar battery(50) installed on the top of the side support by a flange to supply power sources to the many signal generators.
