The assembly has a foaming device having a steam supply channel, an air supply channel, a milk supply channel, and a discharge opening. The foaming device has a venting channel which is vented after milk foam has been created or milk has been heated. A valve selectively closes the venting and air supply channel, depending on the mode of operation of the assembly. The valve has two closure elements to close the air supply channel and to close the venting channel. The valve has a venting bore communicating with a beverage duct, and a closure body member to close and vent the venting bore. |
