An apparatus and a method for preventing generation of adhesion ore is provided to prevent safety accidents by preventing sintered ore from falling to the outside of a transfer line due to interference of the adhesion ore during a transfer work of sintered ore. An apparatus for preventing generation of an adhesion ore includes a guide chute(10), a cooling member(20), a cooling control unit(30), an adhesion ore detection sensor(40), and a temperature sensor. The guide chute guides a passage through which the adhesion ore is introduced. The cooling member cools the guide chute. The cooling control unit selectively cools the cooling member to selectively lower the temperature of the interior of the guide chute. The adhesion ore detection sensor senses the interior of the guide chute and senses adhesion of a sintered ore to the inner surface of the guide chute. The temperature sensor measures the temperature of the interior of the guide chute.
