A registered mail reception box is provided to enable a mailman to deliver a parcel or a registered mail even if a receiver is not in a receiving place and to enable the receiver to check the delivery of the registered mail in a far distance. A mail box includes a card checking portion, a door opening/closing portion, a mail reception checking portion(300), a communication connection portion, a transceiver, a mail receipt checking portion, a checking sign output portion, a memory portion, and a control portion. When reception of a registered mail or a parcel is checked in the mail reception checking portion, the communication connection portion is connected to a receiver's mobile phone. The transceiver portion lets a mailman have a phone call with the receiver. The mail receiving checking portion into which the receiver inputs password by his mobile phone to check the reception of the parcel. |
