<p>A simulation method capable of adjusting a simulation time is provided to adjust the simulation time required for simulating hardware design by performing simulation according to change of an execution time and a clock cycle condition in an actual environment of a sub block system for designing hardware. A target execution time and an execution clock cycle of a sub block program are checked in the actual execution environment(S101). The simulation clock cycle used for the simulation is determined(S102). An estimated simulation time of the sub block program is obtained based on the target execution time, the execution clock cycle, and a simulation clock cycle(S103). The simulation of the sub block program is performed. The time required for simulating the sub block program is measured. The estimated execution time of the sub block program in the actual environment is obtained from the measured time.</p> |
