A knife (12) is provided with cutting blades (35, 37), where the knife is integrated with the hub such that the blade is projected radially from the hub and a balance weight (29) of the tool. The hub has a housing (27A) to receive the weight which is connected and fixed on the hub, where hub has a body (21) and a cover (31) made of plastic material. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used for a food preparation apparatus (claimed) e.g. cutter apparatus, blender, electric mixer, for preparing food for an institution. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The housing receives the balance weight which is connected and fixed on the hub, thus avoiding the hindrance in flow of product around the blade and the disturbance of working of the blade. The tool permits the use of single balance weight, irrespective of number of blades used, thus permitting to balance the entire tool, and hence reducing the mass of the tool, while facilitating the tool to be used for professional food preparation.
