A method for removing freckles is provided to inhibit activity of tyrosinase by applying magnetic force line to the skin, conferring diamagnetic property on copper and inhibiting binding between copper and tyrosinase which requires copper as coenzyme for its activity and suppress side effects or toxicity. The freckles are removed by contacting a magnet with the skin having freckles, dark spots or liver spots, converting copper in the skin into diamagnetic copper, separating the diamagnetic copper from tyrosinase or inhibiting binding of copper with tyrosinase, and inhibiting melanin biosynthesis, wherein the magnet is a permanent magnet or an electromagnet.
