A vacuum cleaner and an adsorption prevention member thereof are provided to prevent inconvenience of cleaning operation due to absorption of a cleaning object by installing the adsorption prevention member at a bottom part of a brush of the vacuum cleaner. A vacuum cleaner includes a main body, a brush(100), an adsorption prevention member(200), and a coupling part(300). The brush has an air suction port in communication with the main body. The adsorption prevention member is coupled to a bottom part of the brush. The coupling part couples the adsorption prevention member to the brush. A connection part(110) is formed at an upper part of the brush to be connected to the main body of the vacuum cleaner through a hose or a pipe. The air suction port is formed at a lower end of the connection part to couple the brush. The adsorption prevention member has a rectangular frame shape, upper and lower parts of which are opened.
