A malodor suppression method of an air conditioner for vehicles is provided to effectively remove malodor in the vehicle by converting to an outer air mode only in an inflection point section when malodor generates due to condensed water on the surface of an evaporator, and increasing wind amount or air temperature. A malodor suppression method of an air conditioner for vehicles comprises the steps of judging if an air conditioner is operated(S1), judging if operation of the air conditioner is stopped(S2) after predetermined time since the operation of the air conditioner begins, when being judged that the operation of the air conditioner is operated, judging if an inflection point section is sensed(S4) by a temperature sensor installed in an evaporator core, when being judged that the operation of the air conditioner is stopped, converting to an outer air mode until completion of the inflection point section, and increasing temperature of air discharged to the inside of the vehicle(S5) by controlling an opened angle of a temp door, when being judged that the inflection point section is sensed, and converting to a turning-off mode of the air conditioner and returning to an angle of the temp door at turning off the air conditioner, when being judged that completion of the inflection point section is sensed(S5).
