The gear box has an odd primary shaft (3) with pinions contributing to odd speed ratios. An even input shaft (4) includes pinions that contribute to even speed ratios. The two shafts are co-axial and are alternatively connected to an engine of a vehicle by two inlet clutches. An intermediate shaft (8) has a synchronizer that integrates the rotation of two intermediate reverse pinions (40, 42). The pinion (42) is engaged with a pinion (30) of the odd and even shafts, and the pinion (40) is engaged with a pinion (34) of a secondary shaft (9).
