The method of assembling an external and internal part of an automobile vehicle using choking cord, comprises depositing the chocking cord on a surface of the external and internal part of the automobile at a level of assembly zone (Z), and heating the cord to create a continuous connection between the cord and the external and internal parts of the assembly zone. The choking cord volume is permanently increases under an effect of heat. The cord is deposited on an internal surface of the external part (3) or an external surface of the internal part (5) of the automobile. The cord is heated so that the cord completely fills a set existing between the external and internal parts, which are apart from the point of contact. The heating of the cord is carried out during a movement of the vehicle in a cataphoresis tank. An independent claim is included for an automobile vehicle.
