A device for processing a workpiece along the edge thereof is provided to perform cutting, coating, washing and adhesion of the workpiece having an asymmetrically bent edge along the edge thereof. A device for processing a workpiece(T) along the edge thereof comprises: a rotating plate(110) having the same edge shape as the workpiece and having gear teeth along the outer circumferential surface thereof; a base plate(101) for supporting the bottom of the rotating plate and having a smooth surface on which the rotating plate moves slidably; a driving gear(140) fixed to the base plate and connected to a driving motor at one side thereof; a timing belt(150) surrounding the rotating plate and the driving gear at the same time for transmitting the rotation force of the driving gear to the rotating plate; an idle gear(120) disposed rotatably on the base plate between the rotating plate and the driving gear to prevent the rotating plate from being drawn toward the driving gear; and a guide roller(130) disposed movably on the base plate between the idle gear and the driving gear in the transverse direction for controlling the tension of the timing belt, wherein the workpiece is fixed on the top of the rotating plate so that it rotates with the rotating plate. |
