A backlight assembly and a display device including the same are provided to stably supply light of various colors, minimize a dark portion, and improve uniformity of brightness by substantially separating a plurality of light guide panels through a protrusion portion. At least one light source unit(76) emits light to each of a plurality of light guide panels(74). Receiving members(71,75) receive the plurality of light guide panels and the light source unit. The plurality of light guide panels include a protrusion portion(742) protruding from surfaces facing neighboring light guide panels and maintaining a separation distance between the plurality of light guide panels.
