A flat display panel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to attach two substrates stably to each other by forming plural virtual seal lines on a dummy portion on one of the substrates. A first mother substrate is attached to a second mother substrate. Plural unit seal lines(131) are formed at a center region between the first and second mother substrates such that plural unit display elements(S,S') are formed. Plural virtual seal lines(133) are formed on a dummy region between the first and second mother substrates. The virtual seal lines are formed in a virtual element size. The unit seal line is formed in a closed structure. The virtual seal line is formed in an open structure. |
