A method for processing native language Internet addresses and a recording medium storing a program thereof are provided to process a character string inputted to an address window as the native language Internet address without installing a program for hooking the character string and determining the native language Internet address to each client. A client terminal receives a query message including the character string transmitted to a DNS server by using a suffix, which is set by a terminal environment setting program, a user, or a DHCP(Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) server, as a part of the Internet address(S101). It is checked whether the character string is a keyword by using the suffix included in the query message(S103). If the character string is the keyword, a URL(Uniform Resource Locator) or IP(Internet Protocol) address of a native language Internet address processing server converting the character string into the Internet address is returned to the client terminal(S105). If the suffix of the query message is found in a suffix database, the character string is determined as the keyword. |
