A pad for absorbing liquid of food is provided to rapidly absorb the liquid of food, which flows in through a bored part of a second bored film, into a liquid absorbing layer through an air-through nonwoven fabric. In a pad for absorbing liquid of food, a laminate is composed of: a lower sheet(20) made of a first bored film having plural liquid permeable bored parts or a nonwoven fabric; a liquid absorbing layer positioned on the upside of the lower sheet, wherein the liquid absorbing layer contains SAP(Super Absorbent Polymer); an air-through nonwoven fabric(14) disposed on the upside of the liquid absorbing layer and formed by fusing synthetic resin fibers to each other by hot air; and a second bored film(12) disposed on the upside of the air-through nonwoven fabric and provided with plural liquid permeable bored parts(18). The peripheral part of the laminate is thermally fused and sealed.
