<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device for a vehicle capable of allowing an axial deviation, shortening the entire length in the axial direction, and simplifying a lubricating oil pathway. <P>SOLUTION: The power transmission device for a vehicle for transmitting an output of a motor to right and left drive wheels via a deceleration mechanism is equipped with a hollow motor shaft having an inner peripheral spline formed on the reverse side of the deceleration mechanism side, and a hollow power transmission shaft installed in the hollow motor shaft for connecting the hollow motor shaft to the deceleration mechanism. A lubricating oil is supplied from a lubricating oil supply part of the deceleration mechanism to the spline and the deceleration mechanism via a hollow part of the hollow power transmission shaft and a space between the inner periphery of the hollow motor shaft and the outer periphery of the hollow power transmission shaft. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
