PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire monitoring system capable of sufficiently reducing the possibility of generating crosstalk of request signals to be individually transmitted to each sensor unit 30 from a vehicle body side controller 20 so as to request the tire pressure data to each sensor unit 30 of each tire. SOLUTION: Vehicle body side antennas (vehicle body side transmission antennas 11-14) for transmitting the request signals, and a tire side antenna (a reception antenna 36) for receiving the request signals are formed of a coil antenna. The coil axis of the tire side antenna is parallel to the axes 8 of rotation of the tires 2-5. The vehicle body side antennas are arranged above each tire, and the direction of inclination of the coil axes of the vehicle body side antennas is set so that the coil axes of the vehicle body side antennas are inclined downwardly and outwardly in the transverse direction of a vehicle.
