PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To register electronic mail in a driverless user terminal so as to be printable and to reduce the burden of operation on a user. SOLUTION: A printed document registering program is executed by a computer as the user terminal 10 and makes the computer function as a selection unit 111 which displays a list of mail messages in a mail folder that an electronic mail client program 152 uses and prompts the user to select a desired mail message, a conversion unit 112 which converts the mail message selected by the user into a file having no dependency on the electronic mail client program 152, and a transmission unit 113 which transmits the converted mail message to a print managing server as an external device of the user terminal.
