PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which can fully prevent deterioration of reception performance, in a switching diversity system. SOLUTION: The switching diversity system wireless communications device is equipped with a receiver employing a switching diversity system. The system comprises a means for acquiring the latest switch mean time, a means for which switching mean time threshold is preset, and an antenna-switching control means for performing antenna, switching only when the latest switching mean time is larger than the switching mean time threshold and otherwise, not performing antenna switching.
