PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a failure due to insertion of a disk by surely guiding to the holder of a disk supporting arm, the rear end side of a large diameter disk and a small diameter disk inserted from the slot of the bezel of a disk device. SOLUTION: The disk device carries in an inserted disk to the inside of the device or carries out a disk housed inside the device to the outside of the device by automatic loading of the disk by a plurality of arms capable of supporting the outer peripheral edges of two kinds of the disks of different diameters and carrying in and out them. A turntable for fixing and rotationally driving the disk is provided on an elevating and lowering frame to be swung vertically. By slightly twisting the rotary board of the disk supporting arm in an initial state in which the elevating and lowering frame is lowered, the distal end of the holder disposed at the distal end of the disk supporting arm is brought close to or into contact with the surface of the elevating and lowering frame, thereby the rear end side of the large diameter disk and the small diameter disk is prevented from advancing to the lower surface of the holder.
