PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence frequency of data access contention while utilizing merits of a database management system of a shared disk client method. SOLUTION: The application server node 2 comprises a DB instance sorting management table 222 registering, in association with primary keys, IDs of DB instances to be used in assess to data of the primary keys with priorities; and a DB instance state management table 223 registering state information of the DB instances. When a processing request containing a primary key of data to be accessed is transmitted from a client node 1, a DB instance sorting control part 22 selects a DB instance with the highest priority from among DB instances DB the instance IDs of which are registered in the DB instance sorting management table 222 in association with the primary key and the state information of which is normal.
