PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body frame of construction machinery and the construction machinery capable of manufacturing the construction machinery of a special specification within a short period of time by selectively mounting only a plurality of kinds of cab assemblies. SOLUTION: A common mounting pedestal 19 of exclusive use for mounting the cab assembly selected from among the cab assemblies 20, 23, 24, 25 and 26 is provided to a forward left section of a sole plate 12 constituting a turning frame 11. Accordingly, the cab assembly selected from among a plurality of kinds of cab assemblies 20, 23, 24, 25 and 26 can be only mounted. In the case a hydraulic shovel 1 of a special specification is thereby manufactured, mounting work of the cap assemblies 20, 23, 24, 25 and 26 is only left over, and since an engine, a tank, etc. can be in a built-up state, the selected cab assembly to be required is only mounted on the common mounting pedestal 19 to enable the hydraulic shovel 1 to be manufactured.
