PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device capable of locking double sliding fittings freely in an optional position. SOLUTION: The locking device is composed of a mounting plate 11 fixed to the upper end of inside fittings 1 located inside; a drive motor 12 fixed to the mounting plate 11; a rotating rod 13 mounted to the mounting plate 11 and having a cam part 13a rotated by the drive motor 12; an elastic body 14 enclosed in a storage case 15 mounted to the mounting plate 11, having an inside elastic part 14a adjoining the inside of the cam part 13a and an outside elastic part 14b adjoining the outside, moving in an inner-outer direction pressed by the cam part 13a by its rotation to bring the inside elastic part 14a into strong resilient contact with the side face of an inside rail wall 3a and to bring the outside fittings 2 into strong resilient contact with the side face of an outside rail wall 3b to thereby lock the inside fittings 1 and the outside fittings 2; and a battery 16 mounted to the mounting plate 11 and used as a drive source for the drive motor 12.
