OPTICAL LENGTH MEASURING TOOL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized and lightweight length measuring tool of portable type, which measures precisely a length noncontactly with length-measuring points. SOLUTION: In the length measuring tool provided with a movable length measurement section 14 slidable along a scale body 1 having a length marking part 11, a light source part 2, and either of a reflection mirror 3 and a half-mirror 4 are arranged in a length measurement starting section 13 and the movable length measurement section 14, respectively, and the length measuring points A1, A2 are irradiated with a light from the light source part 2 as a parallel light beam to measure noncontactly the length L0between the length measuring points.
