PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent liquid shortage in a branching liquid chamber while an interval of adjacent nozzle arrays is made as small as possible by narrowing a width of the branching liquid chamber arranged between pressure chamber arrays. SOLUTION: Each of a plurality of pressure chamber groups extending in a scanning direction is divided to a plurality of two or more rows mutually positionally different in a paper feed direction. The plurality of pressure chamber groups consist of a plurality of rows of the pressure chamber arrays 21 extended in the scanning direction and arranged in the paper feed direction. Moreover, a branching manifold 17b is set between the plurality of rows of pressure chamber arrays 21, which branches from a main manifold 17a to extend in the scanning direction and communicate with pressure chambers 14 that belong to corresponding two rows of the pressure chamber arrays 21. A length of a part of the branching manifold 17b which communicates with the corresponding two rows of pressure chamber arrays 21 is made shorter than a length of one pressure chamber group before divided.
