The net (100) comprises a component adjusted to a boat hull. An internal supporting component (1) is provided along with two external mounting parts and an internal mounting part (8). The internal supporting component is placed in the longitudinal center of the net. The external mounting part is mounted on a front and rear side of the boat. The internal mounting part is mounted at the pole (10) facing side of the net. An independent claim is also included for a method for the prevention of landing birds on boats, which involves mounting net at a distance over boat hull and boat cover that correspond to the length of the bird legs.
