A backlight assembly and a display device including the same are provided to reduce a thickness of a backlight assembly by directly connecting a power stabilization board with lamps. A receiving container(100) includes a bottom portion and a side portion. Lamps(200) are received in the receiving container and emits light. An inverter(400) supplies driving power for driving the lamps. Power stabilization boards(310,320) are disposed at the side portion of the receiving container, are connected to the inverter, and are directly connected to the lamps. The lamps and the power stabilization board are connected with each other by a lamp lead line(210). |
