A tube type gangway diaphragm for a railway vehicle is provided to simply and firmly installing an upper tube and a vertical tube in a bracket by connecting the upper tube and the vertical tube to the bracket. In a tube type gangway diaphragm for a railway vehicle, a plurality of through-holes are formed lengthwise on the inner side of both ends of a rubber plate forming an upper tube(4) and a vertical tube(3). A plurality of through-holes corresponding to the through-holes is formed in two rows. A support plate makes surface-contact with the inner side of both ends of the rubber plate. Bolts(16) pass through the through-holes of the inner support plate, the through-holes of the rubber plate, the through-holes of the outer support plate, and the through-holes of a connecting bracket.
