PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement correct valve function, by minimizing interference between members caused by a valve closing spring, in a solenoid driving type fuel injection valve using a coil spring for a valve closing spring. SOLUTION: In the solenoid driving type fuel injection valve 1A, a stopper core 9 is fitted into a through hole 4a of a coil case 4, and a plunger 11 is arranged on the center line the same as the stopper core 9. The plunger 11 has a needle insertion hole 11a perforated from a base end face, and a tip part of a needle 10 is inserted in the needle insertion hole 11a. A coil-like valve closing spring 15A is compressed and arranged so that a base end side of the valve closing spring 15A is installed to an approximately columnar spring holding part 100A projected from a tip face of a needle 10. The valve closing spring 15A urges the plunger 11 in a tip direction so that the valve is closed when the coil is not energized and the valve is opened by attracting the plunger 11 to the stopper core 9 when the coil is energized. In the valve closing spring 15A, a base end part 150A not elastically deformable is smaller in diameter than an elastically deformable central part 151A.
