PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera in which a problem of coloring caused by a luminance level difference or the like does not occur even in the case that an optical black value of a solid-state imaging device is deviated. SOLUTION: The digital camera includes a configuration comprising: a CMOS 1 which performs photoelectric transform on incident light and converts it into a video signal; a white balance control unit 5 which controls white balance by multiplying R, G, B components of the video signal obtained by the CMOS 1 by a predetermined gain value, respectively; a luminance signal processing unit 6 which generates a luminance signal based on the video signal outputted from the white balance control part 5; and a control unit which determines the gain value based on an output value from the luminance signal processing unit 6.
