PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin-shaped battery having a sealing plate made of a steel plate and suppressing the generation of rust or the generation of electrolyte leakage. SOLUTION: The coin-shaped battery is sealed by crimping the sealing plate having a top wall and a curved part curved in the lower direction from the top wall and an opening part of an outer can through a gasket. The sealing plate is made of a nickel-plated steel plate in which at least the outer surface of a steel base material is nickel plated and a region where Fe and Ni are diffused each other is present between the nickel plated part and the steel base material part, and a ratio of a curvature radius R (mm) of the curved part of the sealing plate to an inside angleθ(°) R/θis 0.0060-0.0160.
