PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which can adjust the volume of the flushing water of a flush toilet by a user depending on the use state of the user, is useful for saving water, is environment-friendly, and is economical. SOLUTION: In a conventional ball valve, a floating ball rod fulcrum bar 14 is fixed, however, in the ball valve of this invention, a fulcrum bar guide 15 is mounted on a ball valve body 2 so that the fulcrum bar 14 may move up and down along the fulcrum bar guide 15. A fulcrum adjusting lever 5 is mounted on the ball valve body 2 from the outside of a tank 1 to the inside of the tank 1, and a cam 20 is fitted to a front end of the adjusting lever 5. When the adjusting lever 5 is rotated, the cam 20 changes its angle, the fulcrum bar 14 moves up and down, and a floating ball fulcrum 18 moves up and down. By the vertical movement of the floating ball fulcrum 18, an area of movement of the floating ball is changed, so that the water level of the tank 1 can be changed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
