PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latch lock adjustable in backset dimension. SOLUTION: The latch lock is unlocked by advancing/retreating a latch bolt by turning a lever or a knob. The latch bolt is bisected into a latch part 21 and a sliding part 22 and partially overlapped on the facing region side of the latch part and sliding part while being axially movable, and composed of fixing means 21b, 21c, 22a in a predetermined position. An outer case 10 storing the latch bolt is constituted to be divided in a tip part 10a and a rear end part 10b for storing the latch part 21 and the sliding part 22 independently of each other so as to overlap in a center region.
